about Tracey Schear
I am committed to making the world a better place. For 27 years I have worked as a social worker to transform systems at the individual, family, community, I have practiced in a variety of settings from the war zones of El Salvador to schools and school districts, public mental health agencies, collaboratives, and nonprofit organizations offering service as a healer, change agent, coach, mentor and consultant.
My relationships with people from so many different walks of life has taught me, that at our very core we share a common humanity. No matter where we come from, no matter what we have lived and lived through, individually and collectively we each long for the same things: to love and be loved, to feel a sense of belonging and connection, to be seen, understood, and accepted. We want to feel worthy, that our life matters and has meaning, and to experience hope, possibility and joy. How beautiful is that?
I am inspired and guided by the notion that we must become the change we want to see in the world. To do this, I believe we must deepen the relationship with our own Self and lead from our inner Source. As we lead from this place we have the capacity to deepen the connections to our loved ones and the communities we are a part of and to fulfill our life’s purpose.
As a healing practitioner, I offer service by accompanying and guiding others on their journey towards this greater awareness, understanding and transformation; recognizing and honoring that each of us has our own unique journey.
From experience I know that along the way, seeking wise counsel, a listening ear, from an experienced practitioner can help us to take better care of ourselves and get the support we need to navigate life’s challenges and learn new ways of being.
My professional background includes being a licensed clinical social worker in Massachusetts and California and a professional certified coach, through the International Coach Federation with certification in Organizational Relationship Systems coaching.
I work through a multicultural lens recognizing the mediating role and impact that cultural factors such as race, ethnicity, immigration status, sexual orientation, gender identity, and socioeconomic background play in our lives.
I lead from the Heart, embracing my sacred duty, to create a just and humane world where we all thrive.
