Clinical Consultation

Tracey offers 1:1 and group consultation for behavioral health agencies and schools as well as for pre-licensure clinicians who need supervision hours and/or support in preparing for licensure exam.

Tracey’s clinical experience and expertise is with children, youth and families having provided direct services and clinical supervision in a variety of settings over the last 30 years, including a bilingual Spanish-English day treatment for teens, k-12 school based mental health services, family support services centers, children’s residential treatment and youth development centers.

Additionally, Tracey brings years of work in cross agency collaboration developing systems of care and integrated care coordination and is available for strategic program consultation in these areas.

School Consultation

whispering waters recognizes that schools are an essential part of our children’s lives and a key place where they learn to be in the world. Given this, schools play a critical role in nurturing students’ social emotional development and learning, and their whole child healthy development. To do this, it has become a fundamental task for schools/school districts to build support systems for students that can be counted on and sustained over time.

Are you looking for support in doing this?

Tracey provides coaching/consultation to school districts and schools in designing and developing school-based behavioral health and wellness services/supports for students, families, and educators. She brings a deep commitment to this work having been a school social worker years ago and eventually directing the Center for Healthy Schools and Communities in California for over a decade. In this role, she and her team supported 18 school districts in creating comprehensive districtwide school health and behavioral health services leveraging millions of dollars to create sustainable systems.

Tracey’s areas of expertise include:

  • Developing multi-tiered systems of support from prevention to intervention

  • Equity strategies to disrupt the school to prison pipeline and opportunity gaps

  • Collaborative teaming for students (e.g. Coordination of Services Teams)

  • Building social emotional learning environments (e.g. CASEL/Restorative Justice/PAUSE)

  • Creating healing-centered, trauma-informed schools

  • Working with district leadership to design district wide systems, policies and practices

  • Finance strategies for creating sustainable school-based health systems
