therapy

We all experience life’s ups and downs, like water it ebbs and flows. As we face transitions, loss, and unexpected life events, we experience a multitude of feelings. At times we are resilient, at other times we struggle with what is happening in our life.

You are not alone.

“Ancient stories tell us the wound is where jewels are hidden. So, honor your wounds and approach them with reverence and gentleness – make space for them to feel welcomed.”

At times like these, therapy can offer relief, support, and connection. From experience, I know that as we navigate the waters of life having a listening ear - one that is kind, compassionate and present to you - can make all the difference.

I have offered service as a healing practitioner for 28 years. I work with young people, adults and families who are dealing with a wide range of difficulties including loss and grief, anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship problems. I help my clients to move towards what is really important to them in their lives and to build healthier relationships first with themselves and then with others in their lives.

As a therapist, I believe in the healing power of connection and the importance of being in “right” relationship to our self, others, and the world around us. I trust that we have everything within in us to heal and thrive and that the relationship you have with yourself - is where it all begins.

In my work with people, my goal is to help you tap into your innate capacity to heal past wounds, release old ways of being, and bring greater balance, harmony, and joy into your life.

As a licensed clinical social worker, I am a systems practitioner at heart seeing each person, couple, and family through a holistic lens. I am an Internal Family Systems Practitioner and trained in healing centered, trauma informed care, and Relational, Family Systems, and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapies. My work is centered in a multicultural lens recognizing the impact cultural factors play in our emotional wellbeing and relationships.

As a client, you can count on me to be fully present as you explore your inner landscape, listening attentively while guiding you through your own unique process. I will call forth your courage and confidence as you listen in and learn new ways of being.

It takes courage to seek support when you are facing life challenges! I look forward to accompanying you on your journey.
